Well Child Clinic is health care to help you promote the good health of your children. It does not provide medical care for your children’s illnesses or disabilities.
What health care is available at Well Child Clinic?
Health education and health counseling including but not limited to growth and development, nutrition, minor illness, safety, and parenting issues.
- Physical exam by pediatrician.
- Blood test for anemia and urine testing.
- Immunizations as needed.
- Information about available health resources.
- Referral assistance for medical-financial help.
How do you apply?
Priority is given to families without health insurance and for whom routine well child visits may be a hardship.
Application and health history forms are available online or from Ravalli County Public Health Nursing Service. You will then be notified of a clinic date and specific appointments given at that time.
Other Information
Well child Clinic staff includes a physician, public health nurses and community volunteers.
All children ages 0-6 are eligible.
There is no fee for Well Child Clinic. Donations are greatly appreciated.
Clinics are held monthly at the Ravalli County Public Health Nurses Office in Hamilton. Children are seen in Well Child Clinic by appointment only!
