Currently, Ravalli County is focused on implementing baseline zoning, which includes density, use, building heights & yard setbacks, by November of 2008. This project has been labeled Phase I zoning.
Phase II projects include all other types of future zoning projects that will not be included in the November 2008 zoning proposal. This later zoning may include more specific design standards for some of the unincorporated areas in the County or zoning focused on protecting natural resources, such as streamside setbacks.
