Ravalli County is in the middle of a process to implement permanent countywide zoning by a target date of November 2008. Phase I countywide zoning (incorporating density, use, building height & yard setbacks) has been identified as the Ravalli County Planning Department's top long-range planning priority.

- Tuesday, May 6: Countywide Zoning Workshop on Draft 1 Zoning Maps - Open House from 6-7pm, Workshop from 7-9pm at the First Interstate Building at the Ravalli County Fairgrounds
- Wednesday, May 7 at 7pm - Lone Rock CPC Meeting at the Lone Rock School Lunchroom
- Thursday, May 8 from 6:30pm - 8:30pm - Hamilton CPC Open House at Grantsdale School Gym
- Saturday, May 10 from 10am - 6pm - Florence CPC Open House at Florence-Carlton School Old Gym
