PARK BOARD: One position open in District #3 (Victor/Corvallis) with a two-year term. This is a nine member board with the power/duties to develop a comprehensive and integrated recreation and open space system providing residents and tourists with a variety of recreational opportunities, that is efficient and cost effective. (See Resolution No. 965 & 2133)

BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS: One At-large seat is open with a two year term ending February 8th 2010. The creation of this board is pursuant to the passage of interim zoning initiative entitled “An Interim Zoning regulations Limiting Subdivisions to a Density of 1 Residence per 2 Acres for a Period of One Year” referred to herein as the “interim zoning initiative”.
Under the authority of Section 76-2-223 MCA, The Board of Adjustment may, in appropriate cases and subject to appropriate conditions and safeguards, make special exceptions to the terms of the zoning initiative in harmony with its general purposes and intent and in accordance with the general or specific rules.
